Fair use Policy

Our Commitment to you

1. We will empty your waste containers to the agreed schedule.
2. We will not increase our prices more than once per year, provided you meet the Fair Use Policy.
3. We will recycle as much of your waste as is practical.
4. We will share service updates on the website &/or by email.

The Fair Use Policy is based on the average container weight for residual waste not exceeding 70 grams per litre, working example weights; (77kg for an 1100 litre bin / 46kg for a 660 litre bin) 45 grams per litre for recyclable waste) and that you fulfil your Duty of Care.

Your Responsibilities are:

1. You will only fill the containers with the allowable materials as described in your Controlled Waste Transfer Note (‘CWTN’).
2. You will not overfill, compact or overload your containers (whether by weight or volume).
3. You will ensure your containers are accessible on the agreed collection days at the agreed pick-up point.
4. You will take good care of the containers, as damage to them is your responsibility and you will be liable for there replacement or repair costs.
5. You will make all required payments in full and on time/up to date.
6. You will make full use of the recycling facilities available to fulfil your duty under the Waste Hierarchy.
